Melissa Moore, Minister of Music
Melissa Moore is a home-grown girl who grew up in Houston. She graduated from Houston High School and has a music education degree from The University of Mississippi. She and her husband, Gary, have been married since 1986 and have one daughter, Laura Claire. Over the past 20 years, Melissa has taught music, both privately and in public schools, and has served as worship leader and/or choir director in a couple of nearby churches. She loves the Lord and has a passion for worshipping Him through the arts. She has served at First United Methodist Church since the late fall of 2008 and is thrilled to see God at work in this local body!
