When someone sees the cross and flame emblem it is indicative that Methodists are nearby. Such is the case at Houston First Methodist; the cross and flame are the symbols of God’s love and the Spirit that flows through us. The people who enter these doors are committed in every sense of the word; first, we are a family of Christian believers, serving Jesus Christ in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. Second, we are committed to sharing God’s love, encouraging spiritual growth, and making Christian disciples. We invite you to come and worship with us and stand shoulder to shoulder with us as we serve our Lord Jesus Christ together. It is our prayer that you will come and make the cross and flame your symbols of love and spirit at Houston First United Methodist Church.
